J M de Barros Viana Orthotics and Prosthetics, also known as Riviera Orthopaedic Services, is a well established private practice based in Cape Town.
Owner, José de Barros Viana, qualified as an Orthotist Prosthetist in 1989 and obtained his B-tech degree in 2004. He specializes in creating state of the art, aesthetic silicone prostheses and epitheses.
His passion for this had him travelling the world over, where he attended numerous courses, workshops and seminars on the subject. He is continuing to broaden his knowledge in this field.
It is our mission statement to make every effort to offer the most appropriate advice and service and always use the most suitable components. We take into account each and every patient’s individual needs and accommodate him/her accordingly. We strive to maintain a healthy long term relationship with all our patients, and our patients often become our friends.
